About APIMI

Asia Pacific International Management Institute (APIMI) is a Singapore-based education bridge platform supporting study pathways, student mobility and institutional collaboration across Asia Pacific.

APIMI connects China education partners, students and families with suitable study opportunities in Singapore and Malaysia. We also work with institutions and professional education providers to develop regional collaboration, applied learning and international education pathways.

Our work is practical, partnership-driven and student-focused.

President

Professor Dr. Tommy Lin is the President of APIMI and the Global South Leadership Institute. He is also a Professor of Management at Netherlands Maritime University College, Malaysia, and teaches across various universities and higher education institutions.

With extensive experience across higher education, public policy, workforce development, institutional collaboration and international education partnerships, Professor Dr. Lin brings a strong regional perspective to APIMI’s work. His professional background includes leadership experience in Singapore’s labour movement, policy and legislative exposure through his work with the Parliament of Singapore, and academic research engagement as a former Adjunct Research Fellow (Honorary) with the National University of Singapore.

Through APIMI, Professor Dr. Lin focuses on building practical and trusted education pathways that connect China education partners, students and families with suitable study opportunities in Singapore and Malaysia. His work supports student mobility, professional learning, university collaboration and regional education partnerships across China, Singapore, Malaysia and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
